Management Seminar Las VegasInstructorsDiane Jarmolow & Michael Reeves![]() Diane Jarmolow Diane Jarmolow is the director of the Ballroom Dance Teachers College, offering Ballroom Dance Teacher Training, certification preparation, and business consulting to aspiring and working ballroom dance professionals at all levels. Diane has been teaching Ballroom Dancing since 1978, and has trained hundreds of teachers, including U.S. and international dance champions. She is the founder and former owner/director of the Metronome Ballroom, San Francisco's "Best Place to Learn to Dance." She is a DVIDA National Examiner, and has helped create an original, rigorous, innovative system of professional certification exams which has set a new standard for professional excellence in the industry. A fifteen-time winner of the "Top Teacher" award at national competitions, Ms. Jarmolow is currently an adjudicator for national DanceSport competitions. She is a member of the DVIDA Artistic Advisory Board, a DVIDA National Examiner, and a DVIDA Certifying Expert. Her credentials include a Licentiate Degree in the Ballroom Branch of the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (USISTD), an Associate Degree in the Latin American Branch of the USISTD, an Associate Degree in the American Branch of the USISTD, and an Associate and Membership Degree in American Style Ballroom and Latin with the United States Terpsichore Association. As an instructor Ms. Jarmolow successfully prepared five-time U.S. Champions Victor Veyrasset and Heather Smith, and U.S. Champion Olga Forapanova for the U.S. Terpsichore examination. She has trained some of the Bay Area's top teachers including US Rising Star Champions and the 2001 US Smooth Finalists David Weise and Valentina, and World Exhibition Champion Tom Slater. ![]() Michael Reeves After graduating college in Missouri, Michael studied two years with Arthur Murray Inc. in Coral Gables, FL before transferring to study under their most successful Franchise Owner, Tom Chapman. There he taught ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Kansas City for 6 years and received 5 top specialist/supervisory/sales awards from Arthur Murray Inc. in Group 1 (highest grossing studios worldwide). After opening and managing three successful Arthur Murray Dance Studios in the US Michael eventually became director/manager of TC Dance Club Int.; a corporation holding seminars/conventions and dance competitions in the US under Tom Chapman's directorship. In 2001 Michael relocated to San Francisco to become the director of Starlite Dance Club - a 20,000 square foot danced studio in Silicon Valley that houses 28 instructors, 350 private lesson students, 20 group classes and four parties per week, averaging 2000 customers attending on a weekly basis. In 2003 Michael became the owner of Starlite Dance Club and is in the process of opening a second school. |
