Dance Camp Los Angeles at the Emerald Ball

Location: Los Angeles Airport Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles, CA

This camp is open to students, amateurs and professionals. This camp is not for Beginners. You must be proficient in at least the Bronze level. (limited to 65 participants).

Join us at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton Hotel. Attend 4 days of intensive dance instruction featuring fabulous teachers such as To Be Determined. Even though there are basic figures taught in these classes, the idea is to improve your technique, making you a better dancer, so you may then incorporate these figures into advances variations.

We try to maintain an even number of gentlemen and ladies attending this camp so we must limit the number of each gender that can register. We recommend single ladies register early to assure a spot in the 2010 dance camp.

How-to-Get-Certified - Full Bronze Rhythm Dances

Location: Gold Coast Hotel, Las Vegas, NV

Presented by: Diane Jarmolow's Ballroom Dance Teachers College and Dance Vision.

This camp is open to anyone interested in becoming certified in the DVIDA Syllabus (limited to 20 participants).

Join us for this totally unique workshop designed to launch your career to the next level! Getting certified is the single most important and satisfying accomplishment a dance teacher can do to make their dance teaching career successful. You will study with world-renowned "teacher of teachers", Diane Jarmolow, who wrote the book on DVIDA certification and preparation. Developed over 20 years' experience training dance instructors, this condensed course will present a solid system for understanding everything you need to know to pass the DVIDA Professional American Style Associate (Full Bronze) Rhythm Exam. It will cover the elements, theory, dancing, teaching methodology, and how to present them in an exam. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers and aspiring professionals to build expertise, credentials, and distinguish themselves in the ballroom dance industry.

This camp is open to all students, amateurs and professionals (limited to 430 participants).

Professional Teacher Camp Las Vegas

This camp is open to professionals only (limited to 70 participants).

After Hours Las Vegas

Location: Gold Coast Hotel, Las Vegas, NV

This camp is open to all students, amateurs and professionals (limited to 150 participants).

Since we can only have so many classes during the day, we have come up with another option for camp attendees to take additional classes in the evening from 7pm-10pm. Due to Popular demand, the evening classes will be (you may choose your camp when you arrive);

Hustle, WC Swing, Nightclub Two-Step with Michelle Kinkaid or

Argentine Tango with Christy Coté and George Garcia

We call this camp "After Hours Las Vegas". This camp is separate from our regular Dance Camps (with a separate registration fee) and is open to everyone. Please keep in mind that this event is limited to 150 participants, so register early. We have hired instructors who specialize in these dances, so you will be learning the most current and up-to-date technique. All classes will be taught over the course of 3 days, starting at the Beginner Level on Monday and continuing through the Intermediate Level on Tuesday and Wednesday. Even if you’re not attending the Ballroom camp, you can register just for After Hours Las Vegas, playing all night and sleeping all day!
